COVID-19
The current state of the world is one that is new to all of us. While that almost gives us a sense of solidarity because there is not one person not being effected by COVID-19, it also fills us with pit of uncertainty. We quickly realized this wasn’t something that we could rely on each person to control, it was our job as a company to create safety measures to keep our team and their families safe. We understand this is a sensitive subject but we wanted to address it to share what we are doing as a company. Everyday we are re-evaluating but as of right now this is what we are doing…
HH Sites
Our four sites are up and running. Each member of Team Hasler has been briefed on how to enter and exit a site, the distance to keep at all times, and how to deal with tradespeople entering our sites. We have sanitization stations setup at the entrance of our sites, and in our site washrooms; lysol spray for shared tools and surfaces; and all trades must ensure they have no symptoms and have not been around anyone with symptoms of COVID-19.
HH Office
Our office staff are working from home for the unforeseeable future. 99% of their job can be done from the computer, over FaceTime, or with an old fashioned phone call. We definitely miss the feeling of working together in an office but right now we will do whats needed for everyone.
The Future
We are in a time where we don’t exactly know what our future holds. We may be in isolation for a couple weeks, or a couple months. Whatever we need to do to flatten the curve is what we need to do. Hasler Homes will stand behind what is best for our own family, our Team, our clients past, present, and future, and the world in a whole.
For the unforeseeable future we are going to do most all of our communicating virtually. Even inspectors have offered to provide inspections via FaceTime which we are happy to work with them and do. Our suppliers have closed their showrooms, but remain to work with us over the phone or virtually so all is not lost.
We know this time is difficult for everyone so we are going to do our best to be part of the positive and part of flattening the curve.
