Team Day! Team Hasler works hard so we find it important take time every few months to do an activity together as a team. It’s such a good opportunity for us to take to build our relationships with eachother.SnowmobilingA couple times a year, we take a day off for a Team Day. It usually is centred around a fun activity and always results in lots of laughs. Aside from the fun and games, Team Days are opportunities for our employees to spend time together getting to know eachother off the site. It helps with relationships on site when you have a broader image of each other instead of just the one you see at work.

This time we chose to head to Whistler and hang out with the TAG Whistler team. First we did a snowmobile tour around Cougar Mountain. Some of us haven’t snowmobiled before so it was fun to learn, but much easier than we anticipated. In the end, it was fun for even us newbies to rip around the trails with our guides.ZipliningNext, we switched helmets and put on harnesses so we could zip through the snowy mountains. There were four zip lines; the longest; the fastest; the steepest; and a little one that gets you home to base camp. I think we all loved the steep one the best. They definitely set it up nicely. You are warmed up with the long one that soars over the valley, which seemed like the most exciting, but once you get to the third one, you know better. In everyones opinion, the steep one was the best.

TAG Whistler did a great job with organizing the day and keeping us entertained. We definitely would recommend trying it out. After a day in the mountains we headed to the Brew House, had some laughs over some of our ziplining videos, and enjoyed a late lunch.

The drive back was so beautiful. The Sea to Sky highway is such a good reminder of how beautiful B.C. is, and how doable it is to go up to Whistler for the day!
