Gleneagles in Style at Home Magazine || May 2019
Style at Home snatched up these photos shortly after we wrapped back in 2018. We weren’t surprised; this home definitely has style. We met Max and Natasha in 2016 to talk about renovating their midcentury bungalow in West Vancouver. They had found this property and knew it was the perfect home for their family of four. When we originally met, the intention was to do a full house renovation, but once we began demolition, we found asbestos. We ended up having to take the house down to the bare bones, which in turn probably worked out better because it meant we could really transform their home. Style at Home really captured the story of how this home came to be and the true vibe of this West Coast family. By the way, when we shot these photos, Natasha was pregnant with her 4th. So in hindsight, maybe we should have considered adding a ‘guest room’! Hope you enjoy the article.

It’s said to be more relaxing for our brains when our living space is free of clutter. So if you are looking to simplify your home, we have some tips. Tone everything down, pare everything back, and abide by the “less is more” approach. That said, don’t think your new décor has to be boring. As you can see from this Gleneagles home, minimalist design can be beautiful, warm, rich, and inviting (and even works for a busy family of four).
