The Bedrooms that Inspire UsThe bedroom design used to be mostly based on function, but over the years we’ve been seeing people treat their rooms more like an personal oasis, and it really has changed! As home builders we have been seeing a surge in design details going into the bedroom. We are talking; feature walls, stunning light pendants, chandeliers, lounge areas, and headboards that would inspire a girls wine night-in just so you can show it off. We thought you may enjoy perusing our recent master bedrooms, perhaps you’ll get inspired to rethink your own. Enjoy…
Lomond bedroom:
This bedroom is so cozy, and full of so many beautiful details. Our favourite feature is the headboard that was made by Team Hasler and the awesome ladies of Karly Kristina Design.
Lynn Canyon bedroom:
You would never guess that this master bedroom feature wall is an inexpensive purchase from a local construction store. Stephanie Hilton Design pulsed this room together by mixing high and low pieces to create a totally unique feeling. The colour palette is also beautiful and fresh but still cozy for curling up after a long day.
Grousewoods bedroom:
The addition of wide pine window framing in the master bedroom and ensuite takes these spaces from an average space to a unique West Coast hideaway. I can see this space being cozy in the winter months, and airy and fresh in the summer. When a space is effortlessly versatile, it’s a design win!
Alpine bedroom:
When we had the master bedroom at Alpine staged for our photoshoot, we definitely didn’t do as much as we could but just by seeing these pieces of furniture in the room, you can see the potential of the space. Our absolute favourite feature of this room is the frameless corner window. There is something so sleek about this style of window and we love it as part of this master bedroom.
